Free Kesha: why should she have to work with a monster?
04:44
I have been noticing the twitter trend;#FreeKesha and I can understand why she is fighting for her freedom. In 2014 Musician Kesha sued her producer Dr Luke Gottwald for sexual assault, harassment ,unlawful business practise and infliction of emotional distress.
This has caused ongoing legal battles between Kesha and Luke Gottwald as she wants an injunction; to be released from Sony record contract so she can stop working with producer Dr Luke. Her contract states she has to make at least six albums with Producer Dr Luke Gottwald. On Friday A supreme Court Justice denied her request for an injection saying: "there has been no showing of irreparable harm Kesha has been given opportunity to record." How can they give her abuser more power over her, this means he will have some influence over her artistic influence and her music.

It is ridiculous that she has to keep working with some one who abused her sexually and emotionally. She broke down in tears after the judge stated her decision. The judge claimed that there was "no irreparable harm", yet she was admitted to rehab because of the abuse she faced. So now she still has to work with someone who has caused her emotional pain. It is clear from her reaction in court that she has endured so much. I think she is so brave, she is speaking out about her abuse and trying to receive justice. Even if the judges cannot see it Many of her fans and fellow musicians can see it and have expressed their support.
