I first heard about this misogynistic, so-called pick-up artist Daryush "Roosh" Valiadeh in a BBC three documentary. I thought this cannot be true in this day and age; how can a man have such disgusting views on women? He calls himself the "King of Masculinity" and has written many derogatory articles including:" 5 reasons to date a girl with an eating disorder", " Don't work for a female boss."

To top it off he made a disgusting article advocating rape on private property. How can someone possible think that this is okay? How can he believe that "no means no until it means yes ?" This is absolutely vile! He then had the audacity to say that it was satire and should not be taken seriously. But when you are talking about a crime that is so violent and soul destroying how can  it not be taken seriously?

 He has now cancelled several meetings with his followers over the threats he has gotten due to his scandalous post, he says he fears his safety and the safety of his follows. Frankly, you cannot write about something so taboo and offensive and not expect to have some negative responses.  I am glad that people are realising that these views are shocking and dangerous these views are disturbing and disgusting and I'm glad that he has cancelled his meetings as hopefully, his views will not influence innocent young men.
